UFO Sighting in Tampa

Here are some recent incidents that contribute to Florida’s reputation as a hotspot for UFO sightings:
January 9, 2025 – Fort Lauderdale: A flight crew from Surjet, a private air service, reported observing a glowing, spherical object exhibiting erratic movements while flying over the Bahamas in route to Fort Lauderdale. The object displayed a white color that transitioned to green, surrounded by what appeared to be an electric field. The sighting lasted approximately 45 minutes at an altitude of about 45,000 feet.
June 21, 2024 – Statewide: The National UFO Reporting Center documented 63 UFO sightings across Florida as of June in 2024. Reports varied from bright orbs and fireballs to disc-shaped objects, observed in cities including Bradenton, Loxahatchee, Port St. Lucie, and Gainesville. Some sightings were later attributed to rockets, balloons, or other explainable phenomena, while others remain unexplained.
September 16, 2024 – Tampa: Multiple witnesses reported seeing a triangular flying object hovering over downtown Tampa, including areas such as Bayshore and Davis Island. Videos posted on social media captured the event, showing the object emitting unusual lights and exhibiting flight patterns inconsistent with known aircraft.
April 5, 2024 – Cocoa Beach: A witness reported observing an extraordinarily fast, whitish, translucent cylindrical object moving silently across the sky. The sighting was noted for the object’s speed and lack of noise, distinguishing it from typical aircraft.
March 4, 2024 – Vero Beach: An individual reported seeing a bright orange trail that disappeared and reappeared as a milky or cloudy orb traveling southward. The phenomenon was noted for its unusual appearance and movement, differing from common aerial occurrences.
